YOUTH DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

Jahvonte is a Spring Creek Towers resident who has worked as a youth advisor throughout NYC for over 7 years with organizations including CAMBA and Brooklyn Youth Sports Club. Prior to joining The Opportunity Hub, he founded a sports development program that prepares competitive high school basketball teams for NYS Basketball Championships. Jahvonte is currently an Assistant Coach at South Shore High School, where his mentorship and skills development work led to a 2021-2022 PSAL Boys Basketball Championship win. His commitment to youth empowerment and resiliency makes Jahvonte a positive role model and mentor to the youth of Teen Central and the larger community.
