FARM MANAGER

Jesse Miller serves as the Farm Manager for The Opportunity Hub Farm, where he integrates his deep-rooted passion for environmental stewardship and sustainable agriculture. Jesse is originally from Los Angeles and has been based on the East Coast since 2018. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geoscience from Brown University and previously worked as the Garden Educator for East New York Farms. Jesse’s hands-on experience spans various farming environments, including organic vegetable farms, a conventional corn farm in Illinois, and a maple syrup farm in Pennsylvania. His STEM background enhances his ability to create and maintain an organized and impactful garden that not only produces beautiful food but also serves as a dynamic learning environment. Jesse feels grateful to help inspire students and community members to cultivate a love for plants, nature, and fresh, locally-grown produce.
