SENIOR DIRECTOR, YOUTH DEVELOPMENT & EDUCATION

Johnny Rosario has been working with the youth of Brooklyn, NY for over a decade at Spring Creek Afterschool, Spring Creek Teen Central and the New York City Department of Education. He specialized in sports and recreation before joining the Charter School System in 2015, where he ultimately became a Behavioral Dean. While working in the charter school system, Johnny developed skills in relationship building, program development, problem solving, fostering peer mediation, and community building. Prior to joining The Opportunity Hub, Johnny was a Probationary Firefighter at the FDNY and a Police Officer at the NYC Department of Sanitation.
